THE SHAPE OF THINGS TO COME I’m just about done with the final draft of the second Comet Sweat book. This one picks right up where the first novel left off, with Declan and company paying a visit to planet Grunj to see a special doctor about a baby. While on Grunj, the band stumbles upon a mysterious hourglass that whisks them from their home in 2184 and back in time to the totally tubular 1980s! There are guest stars galore from the decade of greed—just wait ’til you see the chaos that ensues when Comet Sweat seeks help from none other than THE MISFITS OF SCIENCE!
But the fun doesn’t stop there. I’m also in the process of shopping around a semi-autobiographical novel, Chasing the Elusive, to traditional publishers and agents. This book is sort of an extension of The Muddy Death of Vyolet Synclaire, going more in-depth with the craziness and the frustration I experienced after first coming out and wasting so many years obsessing over that bitter myth we call true love. |
